 This M34 Fire Police Helmet is a recent “out of the woodwork” find recently in Germany. It has never been in a collection before, and is in a very nice condition. The helmet has nearly all of the original black paint finish. The exterior shows even use and age patina. The original aluminium comb remains intact. The liner and chin strap of this M34 Fire Police Helmet are completely intact. The chinstrap shows a tear at one point but other than that it is complete and does not deter from the item. The liner leather shows usage and is complete with its original drawstring  which is without damage. The liner is not ink stamped, but appears to be a size, “58 – 59.” There is a mostly legible manufacturer stamp in the interior of the skirt which shows this helmet was made by the Thale factory. This is a nice honest example of this type of helmet.
