Early cannister which has a period battleship grey overpaint!

This is not the post war tan and grey re-issue civil defence type as no tan color is evident on this!

dated on the lens cover 1940 and marked “H.A.E. S”

The mask is the canvas type, 38 dated and size marked 2.

The mask is complete with all of its straps and “FE” Filter!

Very nice set worthy of some more research into its unit use!
